Pamela – Wet Hot American Mixer, The Goat Farm

8 Oct

What does your outfit say?
“Cute, casual, comfortable, I guess.”

Pamela’s babydoll dress is a nice throwback to the sorts of things we saw back in the 90′s but she keeps it interesting with her aviators and great earrings.  Pamela works for WE Design Atlanta, a non-profit that helps other non-profits with their graphic design needs.

These boots have a long and storied history involving Europe and a snowstorm but I’ll be damned if I can remember the specifics.

Andrew – Wet Hot American Mixer, The Goat Farm

What does your outfit say?
“Magic.  Usually I go with Andrew Tiger Wizard Awesome, but for today, it’s just Magic.

I’ve known Andrew for a few months, and pretty much every time I’ve seen him, he’s wearing this outfit.  There’s something to be said about its simplicity and the way a few well-chosen accessories make it interesting and unique.  His claw necklace is a nice touch and the fanny pack, well it’s simply something else.  Check out Mint, the gallery Andrew co-founded and works for.

Andrew designed the image on this fanny pack himself and had Andy over at trashmessengerbags.com put it together for him.

The Goat Farm

8 Oct

For those of you not yet in the know, the Goat Farm is an expansive artists’ community situated on Atlanta’s bustling West Side.  In addition to providing housing and work space to a number of artists, the Goat Farm regularly hosts a variety of events that showcase Atlanta’s exciting arts and music scene.  We stopped by for an end-of-summer party inspired by the film, Wet Hot American Summer, to see what people were wearing.

Madeleine – Midtown

What does your outfit say?
“Bam.”

I’ve known Madeleine for a number of years and I’m always amazed by how well she can accessorize.  That dangly chain is the icing on the cake for this amazing outfit.  Check out the sleeves on that blouse and the interesting proportions she achieves by pairing it with those casual shorts.

Bright red shoes for a nice punch of color.

Alex – Midtown Festival of the Arts

What does your outfit say?
“Nerdy sophisticated.”

Alex was sweet enough to let us embarrass him in front of all of his coworkers, so of course we’re going to say nice things about his outfit, but to be honest, we really do love it!  The simple texture on his shirt and the rolled cuffs on his jeans are subtle details that make this understated ensemble fresh and eye-catching.

Check out these motherfucking amazing shoes!

Morgan – Midtown Festival of the Arts

8 Oct

What does your outfit say?
“Hot, in more ways than one.”

We caught up with Morgan after spotting her hat disappearing into the crowd and we were pleased with what we found.  Her outfit mixes a few fun textures, from the ruffles on her camisole, to her skintight leggings and her distressed boots.  This is a great fall outfit for any occasion.

These untied and open boots are a great touch and check out the scalloping on the tongue!

Chance – Midtown Festival of the Arts

8 Oct

What does your outfit say?
“Turquatic Love.”

When we asked Chance if we could take his picture, all of his friends collectively moaned, “Not again.”  We guess that Chance gets photographed a lot, and can you blame him?  We love the way the fields of color are spread across his tanktop, interjecting a few bright splashes across a subtle grey.  His bright red sunglasses give the ensemble a nice punch and his cut-off jeans effortlessly exude a sense of Southern casualness that’s perfect for a hot day.

Check out these great not-Chucks that seamlessly blend leather and canvas.
